ReplyDeleteI recently read The Mistress of Tall Acre by Laura Frantz and loved it!
ReplyDeleteI know this sounds cliche, but it's the truth. My absolute favorite historical fiction book is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. My favorite romance sub-genre is romantic comedy and P&P, I believe, was the first rom-com I had ever read. I first read it when I was about 15 years old and have subsequently read it every few years since then. The humor can be subtle, but very rewarding.
ReplyDeleteI just finished The Curiosity Keeper by Sarah Ladd. I also love Sarah Eden, Julie Klassen and Julieanne Donaldson
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Just Jane at the moment. It's as if we're living through Jane Austin writing several of her stories.
