All of these are great books. I too change from historical to contemporary. Chautona Havig and Becky Wade are just 2 of my many favorites. I did share this blog on my Author page.

Thanks, Melissa! I mostly read historical, but my critique partner writes contemporary romance, and she's made me love it just as much!
DeleteSusan May Warren, Rachel Hack, Becky Wade, Melissa Tagg...I could go on... :)

4 of my favorites--and such beautiful people too! :D
DeleteWhat a great collection of books! There are always lots of good book giveaways on this website. I would love to read them! God Bless :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite contemporary author is probably Rachel Hauck! There are so many good Christian authors, though! I posted it to facebook, too. :)
ReplyDeletehttps://www.facebook.com/christian.palmer.716/posts/808440895907615
The only two of hers I've raad have been the first two princess books, which I'll be giving away on here sometime. ;)
DeleteI love Sarah Ladd, Julie Klassen, Sarah Eden, Julieanne Donaldson to name a few.
ReplyDeleteSarah's a friend of mine--and I do love her books! I always love Julie Klassen's books too! I haven't had a chance to read Sarah Eden or Julianne Donaldson yet--but their books are ALWAYS advertised on my Amazon pages saying readers who liked/bought my books also like/buy their books! So they are on the top of my "authors to try next" pile! ❤️
DeleteSusan May Warren, Melissa Tagg, Tamara Leigh, Rachel Hauch just to name a few!
ReplyDeleteThank you,
Stephanie
I'll be giving away a few copies of Melissa's debut novel eventually, and the first two of Rachel's princess series too--I have so books I need to get rid of! (I had a baby last spring--and that boy takes up a lot of room!) ❤️ and TAMARA LEIGH! I look forward to her medieval series someday being in print as much as I look forward to the Everstone Chronicles being in print! ❤️
DeleteI love Denise Hunter, Katie Ganshert, Tracie Peterson, Robin Lee Hatcher (love the latter two contemporary more than historical but I cross over sometimes =) and so many many more!
ReplyDeleteI read all of those authors, but I do try to mainly stick with historicals, since that's what I write. :)
DeleteI read a lot of suspense which is, of course, contemporary. But for romances I really love Janice Thompson. I know there are others but she is the one I can remember off the top of my head at the moment.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I shared about the giveaway on Facebook -- https://www.facebook.com/jasmine.augustine.3/posts/896777990343710
Your right, most suspense is contemporary--but my books are considered historical romantic suspense! It's much different though, and largely to do with the fact that they are written from first person pov. :)
DeleteI love the contemporary books of Becky Wade and Susan May Warren!

I'm so behind on Susan May Warren's books! I think the last one I read was Taming Rafe--which I loved! She's had so many out since then! Perhaps they were coming out too fast for me to keep up with!?
DeleteDawn,
ReplyDeletethanks for the giveaway!
I´ve heard that Julie Lessman is doing contemporary romance as her next book, which I will try for sure, as I just love her.
I also love Denise Hunter and Kristin Billerbeck.

Oh, the link seems broken or what. But you can see reposting on my FB profile https://www.facebook.com/janka.halcinova.7 for sure :)
DeleteJulie told me something about that! I'm sure they will be amazing! And I also LOVE Denise Hunter's books! I haven't read anything by Kristin Billerbeck yet.
DeleteI think Becky Wade is my FAVORITE contemporary author!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite author is JoAnn Durgin
ReplyDeleteI know JoAnn! She and I are both part of the Indiana chapter of American Christian Fiction Writers. (ACFW) :D
DeleteHistorical romances are my first choice, but Becky Wade reintroduced me to the contemporary genre a few years ago with My Stubborn Heart, loved that book!
ReplyDeleteI loved that book sooooo much! ❤️
DeleteI've read a lot of Susan May Warren contemporaries, and for some reason haven't got to her historicals! And Dani Pettrey!--she a
ReplyDeleteHas one of those series that pulls you into a whole family for the long run. I love it! I'll actually be giving away the first three books of her 5-book series one of these days! :D
I have to admit romance in general is a new genre for me. I've been reading suspense/mysteries for years. As yet I don't have a favorite contemporary romance author. I do enjoy Jody Hedlund's books.
ReplyDeleteI also shared the giveaway on facebook.
ReplyDeleteI love Becky Wade's books.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Becky
Cool books so many to read.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy contemporary but historical intrigues me.
ReplyDeleteThe latest one I read and loved was Paper Hearts by Courtney Walsh. I read very der contemporary romance novels, but I do enjoy one from time to time from Becky Wade and Melissa Tagg also.
ReplyDeleteI read a lot of historical novels, but one author I am thinking of right now is Marcia Lynn McClure.
ReplyDeleteRobin Lee Hatcher, Denise Hunter, Dee Henderson, Laura Frantz, Murray Pura, Francine Rivers, Vennetta Chapman, Jannette Oke, Amy Clipston, Courtney Walsh, Melanie Dickerson, Stephanie Landsem, DiAnn Mills, JoAnn Durgin.....and so many more! There are just such great authors out there how can one choose a favorite? Almost like trying to choose a "favorite" child...lol! I haven't really found an author I don't like yet, and that's a good thing...it means more books to read! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI've also shared this on FB (https://www.facebook.com/trixi.oberembt/posts/940214835997086?pnref=story)
Thank you,Dawn for all these great giveaways!
How dumb of me...I forgot one other very good writer....Terri Blackstock! I've read a lot of her books & she definitely keeps you turning those pages through the wee hours of the night!
DeleteThere are so many great contemporary authors it's hard to pick my favorites. I really enjoy reading Susan May Warren, Becky Wade and Katie Ganshert to name a few.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome giveaway! Books by my favorite authors!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome giveaway! Books by my favorite authors!
ReplyDeleteI like to read Karen Kingsbury
ReplyDeleteI love so many authors, but I am definitely a big fan of Susan May Warren, Beth Vogt, Rachel Hauck and Melissa Tagg just to name a few. :) I shared on Facebook as well: https://www.facebook.com/kelly.blackwell.399/posts/10206760804848085?pnref=story
ReplyDeleteKatherine Reay is a big favorite!
ReplyDeleteI love all of these authors! I love so many Christian fiction books! It is very difficult to pick a favorite author And book!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite contemporary authors are Becky Wade, Rachel Hauck, Susan May Warren, Deborah Raney, and Beth Vogt. I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting. I've never been disappointed when I read books by these authors.
ReplyDeleteI don't read a whole lot of contemporary, but Camy Tang is one of my favorites! I love her sense of humor and she often features Asian American protagonists, which I don't see a lot in Christian fiction. I also enjoy Dani Pettrey (romantic suspense/mystery) and I'm currently reading Becky Wade for the first time ("Meant to Be Mine") --loving it so far!
